In-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plans (HMO and PPO). We are considered an out-of-network provider for all other insurance providers at this time.
Superbills for out-of-network families
For out-of-network speech therapy, we are able to provide you with a superbill or medical receipt at your request, in order to seek reimbursement for therapy sessions.
We'll help you ask the right questions
We recommend that you call your insurance provider to find out if you are eligible for out-of-network speech therapy. We are no longer actively pursuing contracts; we do courtesy billing for out-of-network

Frequently Asked
Questions
Don’t see your question? Give us a call! We will be happy to answer your questions, discuss your concerns, and provide guidance on the next steps.
What ages do you work with?
Our practice specializes in working with toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-age children. We see children from 12 months to 12 years for speech therapy. For orofacial myofunctional therapy, we see children 5 years and up.
What does it mean to be neurodiversity-affirming?
As a neurodiversity-affirming practice, we value and respect all ways of thinking and communicating. We believe all brains are beautiful! Our therapists honor each child’s unique strengths, special interests, specific sensory needs, and play styles. Our therapy style is play-based, child-led, and strives for connection over compliance. Most importantly, we do not view Autism as something that needs to be “fixed.”
What is gestalt language processing?
Gestalt language processing is a natural way of learning language. Children who use this type of language development, process language in whole chunks first instead of single words. Gestalt language processors may use immediate echolalia or delayed echolalia to communicate. Many Autistic children communicate using this process. These children often begin with repeating long strings of movie or TV show scripts, songs or melodies, and phrases and then move to more original and spontaneous language.
Can you work with my child if they receive speech therapy services at school?
Yes, we have many families who choose to receive private speech therapy in addition to their school-based speech therapy. We provide one-on-one therapy, whereas services at school are most often in a group setting. We are happy to collaborate with your child’s other therapist(s).
Are parents or caregivers allowed in the session?
Yes! In fact, we encourage it. We pride ourselves in being a family-centered practice. This means we want our families to feel like active participants in therapy so that they can feel comfortable carrying over the skills we are working on.
Where are services provided and how long are your sessions?
Therapy services are provided in our clinic located in downtown Tomball, TX. At this time, we do not provide daycare, school, or home visits. Therapy sessions are scheduled for 30 minute appointments.
What if my child didn't qualify for Early Intervention or school-based speech therapy services? Can you still work with them?
Early Intervention and schools each have their own specific eligibility criteria to meet in order to qualify for services. When children do not qualify for speech therapy services at school, it means that they did not meet their specific eligibility criteria for the public school system. School-based speech therapy services are available for the purpose of helping the student access the educational curriculum, and students must demonstrate an educational need for services. For private speech therapy, an evaluation can be initiated when there is a concern about any aspect of your child’s speech and language development.
Is a referral needed before starting?
For private pay clients, we do not require a referral. If using insurance, this is dependent on your specific insurance plan. After verifying your insurance plan, we will let you know if a referral is needed prior to scheduling an evaluation.
